Digital Friction is a focus app that helps you limit your own use of apps on your iPhone. It is built to keep your information on your device.
Nothing. Digital Friction does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Your tasks, blocklists, schedules, and settings are stored only on your iPhone. App blocking runs through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). The app you choose to block, and your usage of them, stay private to your phone and are never sent to us or anyone else.
Optional tips and the monthly support subscription are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Digital Friction contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. If this ever changes, this page will be updated first and describe exactly what is collected.
Digital Friction is a personal, self-directed focus tool. It is not a parental-control or monitoring app and is not intended to track other people.
